No Mind/Gibberish Meditation

Date(s) -Thu 05-18-17
Time -5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Location -The World of Meditation (Located in a Residential Neighborhood)

This meditation consists of 1/2 hour gibberish, going consciously crazy, allowing any sounds which come from inside, in any language except a language you know.
The gibberish is then followed by 1/2 hour sitting silently. Subhan has described this as “the Grand Canyon of Silence!”  This meditation technique first releases the tensions of the mind and emotions, making it easier to then sit quietly for the last part.

Osho has said: “No-mind means intelligence; mind means gibberish, not intelligence. And when I am asking you for gibberish, I am simply asking you to throw out the mind and all its activity so you remain behind, pure, clean, transparent, perceptive.”

Before this meditation we will first meet with each other,  and then more detailed instructions will be given. Questions can be asked before and after each meditation.

Cost: $11 per meditation or $7.00 per meditation with a 10-meditation pass which is $70. The money helps support the Center and the surrounding park-like grounds.

Please Note: The World of Meditation is located in a residential neighborhood at 3412 NE 115th St, Seattle, WA 98125. (Look for the stained-glass butterfly in the window on the top level.)There are many parking spaces (at least 9) in the large driveway; or park in front of the raspberry bushes in front of the center. There is virtually unlimited parking on 35th Ave, NE. – or on 34th Ave. – but only park on the side of the school – not in front of houses. The neighbor on the corner of 115th and 35th (same side as the Center) asks that no one park in front of their house on 115th. If you park on the street be sure to park in the direction of the flow of traffic, because in this neighborhood you might get a ticket! Thank you for your consideration.
