Osho’s Mystic Rose Meditation – Online 

Jan 21 – Feb 10 from 7pm-10pm 

‘The Mystic Rose Meditation is a three-week process involving three hours per day. The first week (Jan 21 – 27) is Laughter,  the second week (Jan 28-Feb 3) is for Crying – Tears, allowing Sadness and Grief, and the third week (Feb 4 – Feb 10) is known as the Watcher on the Hill – Sitting Comfortably & Gentle Movement) Meditation.

The meditation goes like this –  For the first three-hour a day week, participants immerse themselves into the energy of laughter, then the next week into tears, sadness & grief and in the final week, the silence and relaxation of meditation.

This process is extremely powerful as it allows many of our repressions and fears that have locked up our basic vitality and joy to surface and dissolve. Emotional blocks are released through the powerful flow of energy that laughter creates during these three-hour sessions.

During the second week participants are encouraged to cry fully, thereby creating a tremendous healing and transformational situation. Everyone is given total support and encouragement during this emotional time.

There is no talking during any of the three hour sessions, which is totally supported by the collective power of the group dynamic.

The final week brings meditation, clarity and an integration of all that people have gone through in the first two weeks. After the profound release and healing of the first two week, a great depth of silence and presence can be felt.

In 1988, Osho chose Leela to create The Mystic Rose Meditation and Trainings. She is the Senior Facilitator and Trainer for all Osho’s Meditative Therapies – Mystic Rose, No-Mind and Born Again Meditations.  Leela is also the Director of The Osho Institute for Meditative Therapies and has facilitated Mystic Rose and Trainings for over 28 years worldwide. I (Shanti Schenker-Skye) was fortunate to become a certified Mystic Rose Facilitator under her guidance.

In 1988, Osho, an Enlightened Mystic devised this technique for the many thousands of people who had gathered in the Buddhafield of his commune in India. Over many years Osho created many meditation techniques specifically designed for Modern man. All these wonderful techniques are well known worldwide.’

A Meditative Therapy- Meeting of the East & West

I have participated in and led many Mystic Rose Meditation Therapies – it is always a  transformational experience for me. Just before the 21 day process starts, my mind freaks out – ‘OMG how can you laugh or cry for 3 hours each day for a week. ‘Fortunately I have the ability to  ignore the mind and jump into the process – and then it just becomes my life for those three weeks.

The last time we presented it, we also by chance did it Online!   During the laughter week, we all gathered at the center. One person participating had a slight cold.  Because we were intermingling so closely everyone got sick.  So we just continued online and in-person.  During the second week it snowed.  When it snows in Seattle the city almost shuts down.  Only those living in walking distance & a few East Coasters who were not afraid to drive came in person. Others participated on Zoom.  During the third week the electricity went down, and some people for a variety of reasons decided to continue participating online.   Everyone participated totally – we all became very close and at the end we really were bathed in essence of the Mystic Rose!.

This year we will hold the meditation entirely online, as it is too unknown how we all will be in respect to Covid19 and it’s variants during the winter  There will be music and Osho snippets guiding us each week on our laughter; our tears; and as watchers on the hill – the name of the last week of the meditation.

I will always be present on Zoom, monitoring everyone.  We will always gather promptly at 7pm for personal sharing and then once we start we will not speak to each other for the rest of the time. We will end promptly at 10pm.   I will then be available for individual questions.  Also, during the session we can do chat, if you feel you it’s urgent to speak with me.

The cost of this meditation therapy is $335.00.
